From the lodging to the team, and the awesome folks RY brought together, everything was top-notch. I got to really be in the moment with myself and do my own thing, while also feeling a sense of connection with a bunch of people in a fresh city. Absolutely loved it.

I've consistently had fantastic experiences with Remote Year. Spent half a year with them, just wrapped up my time in Bali and it was absolutely unforgettable. If you're considering it, go for it! These will be some of the most memorable months of your life.

Remote Year claims to be punctual, effective, and dependable, but my experience was far from that. The main annoyance was the lack of communication, particularly concerning refunds for messed-up trips and other issues. Honestly, I can't suggest a Remote Year experience given the price they charge.

What a fantastic time in Bali! The leadership in the city was particularly impressive! I’d love to return!

I can't really put into words how amazing my time was with Remote Year on the Mozart Journey. It was my first solo international trip, and let me tell ya, it was one of the best choices I've ever made. Our group had folks from their 20s to their 60s, and we all contributed to what became a fantastic circle of lifelong friends. The Remote Year crew took care of everything—accommodations, workspaces, internet, and those thrilling day and weekend outings! As a mom, I feel thankful for the experiences I can share with my daughters, who are watching and getting inspired by my journeys! I can't wait to travel more with Remote Year! I wholeheartedly suggest Remote Year to anyone eager to embrace life on their own terms.

I just got back from an incredible journey with Remote Year, exploring Croatia, Spain, Italy, and Turkey alongside the group 'Mozart.' Honestly, it was one of the best times I've ever had. The whole experience was simply outstanding and ranks high among my life choices. The way the program is set up strikes a perfect balance between freedom and structure. Plus, the places we stayed were top-tier, and the local activities were something I’ll always remember.

A big part of why this trip was such a hit was our group leader, Ale. She was fantastic, with superb leadership and organizational skills, always making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. I really believe that without her, the trip wouldn’t have been nearly as fun.

In summary, I can’t recommend Remote Year enough for anyone seeking an unforgettable adventure. The mix of travel, culture, and community is one-of-a-kind and hard to find elsewhere. It’s an experience I’ll cherish forever, and I’m already excited about my next journey with Remote Year.

Just finished an amazing month in Mexico City and it was truly fantastic! Coming all the way from India, Mexico is quite a distance from home, and honestly, I wouldn’t have thought about exploring it anytime soon if it weren't for Remote Year. But I really fell for the city, the cuisine, the climate, and the locals. Giral and Omar were the top-notch program leaders I've encountered in any RY location. They created the most memorable experiences, were always there for any of our needs, and became awesome friends. Giral even went the extra mile to organize a surprise birthday bash for a fellow remote. My Merida crew was the best bunch of folks, and I’m super excited to catch up with them and our program leaders on another RY adventure in the near future!

I get that Antigua moves at a more relaxed speed, but it's fantastic to stroll around and find a new cafe, shop, or a cool spot hidden behind a door. The locals are wonderful. Josh, the city manager, is truly a gem and an incredible individual.

If you're a single woman on the hunt for adventure, Remote Year is just the ticket. It offers not only the thrill of exploration but also the comfort of a supportive community. They handle all the tricky bits of travel for you—like finding places to stay and curating a fantastic lineup of activities. Plus, you get to meet a bunch of like-minded folks who share your passion for work, play, and travel. Having participated in four different RY trips, I can honestly say I wouldn’t want to do it any other way. Big thanks to Remote Year, and a shout out to the awesome team in Mexico City! Giral and Omar really make CDMX a must-visit spot, and I’d follow them anywhere, knowing they’ve got my back.

Mexico City was just fantastic! The locals are super friendly and the food is out of this world. Giral and Omar are simply the best. They really go above and beyond to ensure you feel at ease, safe, and well looked after (plus, they have awesome suggestions and are a ton of fun to chill with). I can't recommend this 1-month program enough!

Where do I start? CDMX has an incredible amount to offer - delicious food, vibrant nightlife, friendly folks, stunning art, rich history, and a unique culture! Remote Year made my experience unforgettable. Giral and Omar are simply the best! They were always quick to respond, super helpful, and we ended up becoming good pals. The excursions were all fantastic, and this is definitely a journey I’ll cherish forever! Our group turned into a little family, and I plan to keep in touch with most of the folks from my program. They really looked after the apartment and workspace, which had fantastic internet, plus there were loads of fun activities to choose from. One standout team member, Arianna, was absolutely incredible. She was super sweet, organized, and really made the experience unforgettable. I always felt like I could reach out to her with any questions, and she organized a bunch of special events that everyone enjoyed.
Having a separate room for remote work was a big plus in the workspace. It allowed us to change things up in different areas while still having dependable desks and a quiet spot when we needed it.
The location was in a very safe neighborhood, close to plenty of delicious food options.
We went on tons of adventures, bonded with a fantastic group, and by the end, we were all pretty bummed to leave.

I had an amazing first experience with RY in Bali. From Vita, our community manager who felt like one of the crew, to the lovely accommodation provided by our fantastic host, Feliz, it really went above and beyond my expectations for service and hospitality. During my time there, I met some incredible folks, soaked up the local culture, enjoyed delicious food, explored stunning spots, and tried a bunch of new things. Plus, the setup to work at Bwork while soaking in the Bali vibes was just perfect! I’m definitely planning to return to Bali and explore more of the world with RY. Being part of the RY community feels pretty special to me.

Choosing this experience was among the finest choices I've made in my life. I encountered incredible folks, enjoyed some of the tastiest dishes, and made memories that will stick with me forever.

My time in Lima with Remote Year was truly fantastic, largely due to the amazing folks I connected with and the solid framework set up by the Remote Year crew. Our Community Leader, Ari, really went above and beyond to make sure we had chances to explore, bond, learn, have a blast, and get things done. There was always a ton going on, and we created unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships. The place we stayed was excellent, and the weekend excursions were intense but allowed us to see a lot in a short amount of time. I’d totally sign up for another Remote Year adventure.
